Homemade Sanitizer

Considering the spread of coronavirus in the world it is becoming more difficult to buy hand sanitizer. But do not panic! It can be prepared at home in a few minutes. Moreover, all basic ingredients can be purchased at every pharmacy at an affordable price. Our appliance repair experts picked two best recipes for you.

RECIPE 1: Hand Sanitizer with Essential Oil

Keep in Mind

Among the main rules that help to avoid infections doctors call not only hand washing, but also thorough disinfection of objects that are in daily use. Many of these things are literally teeming with bacteria and can be a great “home” for coronavirus or any other infections. Things requiring disinfection in the first place:

  • phones;
  • headphones;
  • bank and discount cards;
  • jewelry;
  • bags, wallets, purses;
  • glasses;
  • keyboard;
  • doorknobs;
  • home appliances handles (including refrigerators, microwaves, etc.);
  • water taps;
  • flush buttons.
Covid-19

¡NB!

In case of COVID-19 or any other infectious diseases proper handwashing (not less than 20 seconds and definitely using soap) is much more preferable. So you’d better use any hand sanitizer (homemade or not) only if soap and water are not available in the near future.

And according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) you need to use hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.

Please, don’t let children use any hand sanitizer on their own. And to avoid any irritation or even injury use it very carefully yourself.
